Foreign companies that supported and financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are now seen as enemies of Russia. This was announced on September 6 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Those who financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine are the third story. And, of course, these companies have already become enemies, and they should be treated that way," Peskov told TASS at the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF-2025).

He also noted that Moscow is ready for dialogue with Western brands that have fulfilled all their obligations by leaving the Russian market. However, for those companies that acted dishonestly, returning to the Russian market will be expensive, the Kremlin spokesman added.

On June 20, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov spoke in the Izvestia studio at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025) about the lack of applications for the return of foreign companies to Russia. He also noted that there is a subcommittee on foreign investment, which is considered mainly by the withdrawal of foreign representatives from the Russian Federation.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
