The Russian government has prepared rules for determining the maximum number of paid places in universities for the next academic year. This was announced on September 5 on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

"The maximum amount of paid admission for the 2026/27 academic year will be communicated to universities in November this year, after which they will have the opportunity to adjust the estimated values of paid admission, providing an appropriate justification," the report says.
