Sobyanin spoke about the improvement of the territories around the reconstructed schools

The territories around 51 metropolitan schools, renovated as part of the city's "My School" program, have been landscaped for physical activity. This was stated by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his official blog.

"Near the educational buildings, everything necessary for the physical development of children has appeared: obstacle courses, treadmills, jumping pits, sports simulators, drill grounds and more," said the mayor of the capital.

The total area included in the improvement program was about 80 hectares. In total, 110 playgrounds with exercise equipment and play complexes for children of different ages were equipped around the schools, recreation areas were created, high-tech energy-saving lights and video surveillance cameras were installed. Parking lots for bicycles and scooters and lawns have been added next to educational institutions, and trees will be planted in the landscaped areas during the autumn and winter period.
