Chekunkov noted the relevance of the Muravyov-Amursky 2030 program

The Muravyov-Amursky 2030 management training program for the Far Eastern region is in demand. This was announced on September 6 by Alexey Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, at the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).

"By good tradition, for the last three years we have been holding a session dedicated to the Muravyov-Amursky 2030 management training program for the Far East, and more recently for the Arctic. The program has deservedly become one of the most sought-after similar programs in Russia. Because this program is dedicated to the development of the most promising regions of our country," he said.

According to the minister, the relevance of the program is demonstrated by the large number of people willing to participate in it. So, the competition within the framework of the initiative is 96 people per place.

The program differs from similar projects in its practical approach and "working with real people" who solve tactical and strategic tasks in the development of the Far East, he added.

"At the same time, I never tire of reminding the guys who passed this toughest competition not to be arrogant, not to consider themselves leaders, chosen, but to work and study with the understanding that you have chosen a difficult path for yourself, full of obstacles, full of challenges to pass, which you just need to be filled with knowledge and absorb the maximum practical the experience of mentors and teachers that we have gathered for you in the best universities, in the best educational institutions in the country," said Chekunkov.
