Gunners of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the AFU facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Artillery crews of the Vostok group of forces struck positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnipropetrovsk region, destroying drone control points and dugouts. This was announced on September 6 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Aerial reconnaissance revealed launch sites and camouflaged coordination points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the area of the village of Gavrilovka. A fire strike was carried out at the specified coordinates.

"All targets were destroyed, engineering structures were destroyed. The enemy suffered losses in manpower and lost part of the infrastructure," the ministry said in a statement.

The servicemen practiced joint operations using advanced technologies and experience gained during the special operation.

Earlier that day, the Ministry of Defense informed the Guards about Private Ivan Cook, who performed a feat in the area of a special military operation (SVO). According to the department, the serviceman brought the Msta-S self-propelled artillery system out from under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Then Cook noticed an enemy FPV drone approaching the installation and shot it down, securing the artillery piece.
