The team of Maxim Turevsky, Leonid Danilevich and Fyodor Ushakov from St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg State University), which won the ICPC World Programming Championship, returned to the northern capital of the Russian Federation. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on September 6.
"It was necessary to solve algorithmic problems, in five hours out of 12 tasks to solve as many as possible. <...> We passed 11 out of 12 tasks," the participants shared.
Teams from more than 70 countries entered the final stage of the championship. However, only four teams managed to become gold medalists, including representatives of St. Petersburg State University.
On June 8, the RuKod Programming Championship received international status. The solution is aimed at developing and popularizing programming, increasing the interest of young talents in programming as a professional activity. The concept and regulations of the championship will be approved within a month. The organizing committee will include representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, Rosmolodezh, authorities of several regions, as well as university rectors.
