The value of the key rate in Russia is changing under the influence of macroeconomic indicators. This was announced on September 5 by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov during a visit to the ODK-Kuznetsov plant in Samara.

"The key rate is moving not because of the need to improve the industry, but based on macroeconomic indicators," he stressed.

Siluanov added that when considering this issue, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation primarily looks at inflation, and then at the level of loans to the economy.
