A private plane with two pilots crashed into Lake Elmaren near the town of Norrtje in eastern Sweden. This was reported on September 5 by the Swedish newspaper Göteborgs-Posten.

"The plane was preparing to land, <...> but soon it was almost completely under water," the article says.

It is specified that both victims were found, but there is no information about their condition. Divers and special equipment, including a helicopter, were involved in the rescue operation.

Police have launched an investigation to find out the circumstances of the crash.

Earlier on August 25, three people died in a helicopter crash on the British Isle of Wight. As a result of the crash, one person was hospitalized in serious condition. There were four people on board the helicopter, including the pilot.
