Russia's youth national team lost to Saudi Arabia in a friendly match
The Russian national under-21 football team lost to the Saudi Arabia under-23 team in the first friendly match. The game took place in Khimki on September 5.
The match ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests, who scored Meshari Al-Nemer (35th minute) and Abbas Al-Hassan (78th). Daniil Motorin scored the only goal for the Russian national team in the 4th minute.
According to Sport-Express, the second meeting between the teams will take place in Khimki on Monday.
Earlier, on September 4, the Russian national football team played a draw with a team from Jordan, the finalist of the Asian Cup. The friendly match was held in Moscow at the Lukoil Arena stadium. During the game, three Russian athletes received yellow cards.: Andrey Mostovoy, Ruslan Litvinov and Evgeny Morozov.
