Export is a key element in the development of the creative economy, which is especially important for entrepreneurs in the Far East, whose geographical location promotes content and products to Asia. This was stated at the session "The Future of the Global Economy of Ideas and Meanings: Competition or Collaboration" within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum by Vera Podguzova, Senior Vice President, Director of External Relations at the PSB.

"The presence of a creative component is necessary for the competitiveness of domestic industry and small businesses. Creativity is not only fashion, culture, but also industrial design, marketing, and product visualization. This is the key to successful market entry and development of export potential. It is important that the government supports this trend and creates conditions for the development of the creative economy in all areas," Vera Podguzova said.

She also pointed out that the Far East is not only a geographical bridge between Russia and the Asia-Pacific region, but also a platform for the active exchange of knowledge and experience.

"It is obvious how the international payment system is being transformed now. The usual global payment systems are being replaced by national instruments and the consistent expansion of the geography of their use," Vera Podguzova said.

She noted that today consumers focus primarily on the speed of transactions and low commission, which are also available on a specially created PSB platform.

"One of the consequences of such changes is an increase in the variability of the instruments used and an increase in the number of settlements in national currencies. By the end of June this year, the share of the ruble and friendly currencies in payments for Russian exports reached 85%," Vera Podguzova concluded.
