Spartak announced the transfer of the defender of the national team of Cameroon

Football player Christopher Wu moved from the French football club Rennes to Spartak Moscow. This was announced on September 5 on the official website of FC from Moscow.

Wu was born in France. He played in clubs such as Nancy, Lens and Rennes. In the latter, he spent three seasons, during which he participated in 51 matches, scored one goal.

"From Rennes, Wu began to be called up to the Cameroon national team, he has 22 games for the national team and two goals to his credit. In our team, the defender will play at number three," the football club said in a statement.

Wu signed a contract with the team until 2029.

Earlier, on August 19, Ilya Samoshnikov joined Spartak from Lokomotiv. The player took the 14th number in the team. The contract is for three years with an option to extend it for another season.
