- The second International Symposium "Creating the Future" will be held in Moscow on October 7-8
A wide range of relevant topics — from demographic trends and global urbanization to international scientific and technological cooperation and digital space - will be discussed by participants of the II International Symposium "Creating the Future" on October 7-8, 2025 in Moscow, at the National Center "Russia". The annual Symposium, organized on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin under the auspices of the Decade of Science and Technology in our country, will bring together more than 7,000 experts from the SCO and BRICS countries, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the United States to develop positive scenarios for the future.
The expert program of the II International Symposium "Creating the Future" is based on the strategic task of forming positive scenarios of the future and their visualization. It includes tracks "Society", "Technology", "Global Cooperation", where futuristic forecasts will be discussed.
The track "Society" is dedicated to society, its image and transformations in various fields. Leading minds from different countries will discuss overcoming the global demographic crisis, the opportunities and challenges of urbanization, the future of culture and the impact of social architecture on society, changes in the labor market, the prospects for collaboration between cities and corporations, foreign and Russian practices of creating visual code. There will also be a kind of futurological media laboratory to develop inspiring images and ideas about the future world. Much attention will be paid to building scenarios for the future at the intersection of science and creativity and analyzing the design processes themselves.
The Technology track will focus on key applied innovations that shape the future here and now. Among the planned topics are cybersecurity, biotechnologies of the future — from organ printing to DNA editing, features of creating materials of the future, digital space, and the introduction of artificial intelligence.
The Global Cooperation track will focus on the presentation of initiatives and the search for new solutions in the field of humanitarian cooperation. The meanings and values that can unite humanity, the image of global cooperation and the interaction of individual countries, in particular Russia and Africa, the image of the joint future of our country and the Global South in megaprojects, and much more will be analyzed.

The events of the Symposium will result in futuristic forecasts that can be monitored, discussed, and adjusted.
