FEFU Nwankwo student spoke about his impressions of attending the WEF-2025
The organization of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (EEF 2025) was at the highest level. On September 5, Charles Somtochukwu Nwankwo, a student at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), told Izvestia on the sidelines of the WEF-2025.
"Every year the impressions from the forum get better and better. This year, the atmosphere here is also very cool, everything is organized at the highest level. There are many opportunities to get acquainted with scientific and technological achievements, and new speakers speak on interesting topics every day. Everything is great," the student said.
He added that he would like to work in Russia and be a link between Russia and Africa in order to promote the development of scientific research between the two countries. According to him, this will help expand cooperation and benefit both sides.
"A lot of Africans are coming to Russia now, some to work, but most to study. A number of African countries are already members of the BRICS, including South Africa, while others are just applying. This indicates the strengthening of relations between Russia and Africa, this is a significant step forward that will contribute to the progress of both sides," Nwankwo said.
On September 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that working with Congo is one of the priorities of Russia's foreign policy activities in Africa. The Head of State called Congo a reliable and time-tested friend and partner of Russia. He pointed to the republic's constant participation in Russia—Africa meetings at the presidential level.
