"With the support of the city, a huge number of NGOs are working, a volunteer movement has been created, and charitable digital projects have been launched. It is important that there are even more good deeds, and the process of helping is as simple as possible," said the mayor of the capital.
According to Sobyanin, residents of the capital actively participate in social and charitable projects of the city. With his help, Muscovites have already sent more than 240 million rubles to the addressees.And by transferring points from the Million Prizes city loyalty program to those in need, the townspeople collected over 655 million rubles more for those in need.
Within the framework of the Moscow Helps project, a collection of humanitarian aid has been organized for participants in a special military operation, as well as residents of new and border regions of Russia. There are 15 headquarters open for this purpose, working daily.
The country's first social marketplace, Moscow — Dobry Gorod, offers exclusive products created by people with disabilities. The project already has 50 partners, and since 2021 its revenue has exceeded 70 million rubles. All funds are used to pay for the work of craftsmen and the development of charitable initiatives.
