Air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian drones over the Sea of Azov
Air defense systems shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Sea of Azov. This was announced on September 5 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"Two Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the waters of the Sea of Azov," the Defense Ministry wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that all drones were shot down between 8:00 and 10:00 Moscow time.
On the same day, it was reported that the air defense forces destroyed 92 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory overnight. It was clarified that 15 drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, 13 over the Rostov region, 12 over the Tula region, and 11 over the Kaluga Region. Nine UAVs were also destroyed over the Ryazan region, eight over the Crimea, seven over the Voronezh region, five over the Kursk Region and five over the Orel region. In addition, two drones were shot down over the Lipetsk and Belgorod regions, one over the Smolensk region, as well as one drone destroyed over the Black Sea and another over the Sea of Azov.
