The Far East is ahead of the national pace of development in many respects. This was announced on September 5 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum - 2025 (WEF-2025).

The jubilee Eastern Economic Forum is taking place on September 3-6 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. This year, the main theme of the forum is "The Far East: cooperation for peace and prosperity."
