American actor Steven Seagal arrives at Putin's plenary session at the WEF

Stephen Frederick Segal, American actor and film director, Special Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry for Humanitarian Relations between Russia and the United States, arrived as a guest at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025), during which Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to speak.

Seagal was surrounded by journalists in order to get autographs from him and take photos together. The Izvestia footage shows that the actor is happy to communicate with the guests who came to the meeting, and poses in front of the camera lenses.

On the opening day, the guests of the forum were entertained at the stands, and international cooperation was discussed at the sessions.

The jubilee Eastern Economic Forum is taking place on September 3-6 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus. This year, the main theme of the forum is "The Far East: cooperation for peace and prosperity."
