Bloomberg reported on the loss of US hegemony in the Asia-Pacific region
The United States has ceased to be the hegemon in the Asia-Pacific region (APR). This was reported by Bloomberg on September 5.
"The United States is also no longer the undisputed hegemon in the region, as China's navy surpasses it in size, and Beijing is rapidly arming itself with aircraft, missiles and other weapons," the publication says.
It is noted that this opinion was formed after Australia and Japan agreed to strengthen military and economic ties due to China's alleged threat to these countries. The United States acts as the guarantor of these relations.
Earlier, on July 18, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko spoke about the negative consequences of Western policy in the Asia-Pacific region. He noted one of the manifestations of the policy within the framework of the Indo-Pacific strategy, when small blocks of narrow composition are created instead of a single security system.
