Glushkov announced the production of up to 1.5 GW per year from renewable sources by 2030

By 2030, the total amount of energy produced by the Russian Federation from solar, wind and geothermal power plants will be up to 1.5 gigawatts (GW) per year. Anton Glushkov, President of the National Association of Builders, told about this on September 5 at the Izvestia studio during the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).

"Of course, this will not replace traditional energy, but it will provide small settlements and increase the security of systems," he added.
