Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said at a press conference that the country has no plans to send troops to Ukraine. This was announced on September 4 by the bTV Novinite TV channel.

"We will not send troops to Ukraine, but our participation will consist in providing the necessary infrastructure," the Prime Minister said.

According to Zhelyazkov, Bulgaria will provide Ukraine with ships, aviation equipment and weapons.

Earlier in the day, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that about 26 member countries of the coalition of the willing had expressed their readiness to send a military contingent to the territory of Ukraine. It is noted that these measures are provided as security guarantees for the Ukrainian side.
