Poland expressed disagreement with the arrest of their citizen in Belarus
Polish special services have protested against the arrest in the Republic of Belarus of a man accused of spying on the military during the exercises. This was announced on September 4 by the press secretary of the Minister of Special Services of Poland, Jacek Dobrzynski, on the social network X.
Dobrzynski noted that the country's authorities perceive this arrest as a provocation by the government of Belarus against Poland.
Earlier that day, it was reported that employees of the State Security Committee (KGB) of the Republic of Belarus had detained a Polish spy red-handed who was collecting information about the Zapad-2025 exercises. It is known that the arrest took place in the city of Lepel, located in the Vitebsk region. According to sources, Polish citizen Grzegos Havel had an eight-page A4 printout.
