Yekaterinburg court arrested a man involved in the activities of the RDK
In Yekaterinburg, the Chkalovsky District Court arrested a local resident involved in the activities of the Russian Volunteer Corps organization (RDK, an organization banned in the Russian Federation and recognized as a terrorist organization). This was reported on September 4 by TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies.
"Today, the Chkalovsky District Court has determined the measure of restraint for a supporter of the RDK, Yudin, involved in the commission of a crime under Part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism"), in the form of detention for a period of 1 month and 18 days," the statement said.
Prior to this, the detained person involved was brought to administrative responsibility for propaganda of Nazi symbols of extremist organizations.
The arrest of a resident in Yekaterinburg was reported the day before. A search was also conducted at the detainee's place of residence, during which personal belongings, communications equipment and sketches with extremist images were seized.
