Poland has no plans to send its military to Ukraine even after the end of hostilities. On September 4, Prime Minister of the Republic Donald Tusk told reporters after a meeting of the heads of state and Government of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris.

"Poland, as we have repeatedly stressed, has no plans to send soldiers to Ukraine, including after the end of the conflict," Tusk said.

He added that Poland is fulfilling an important task of providing logistical military support to Ukraine by the West.

On August 31, European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen announced a specific plan for a possible military presence in Ukraine after the end of the conflict. Presumably, tens of thousands of European troops will form the basis of the troops, while receiving comprehensive support from the United States.
