Rescuers warned of worsening weather conditions in the Trans-Baikal Territory in the coming days. Showers with thunderstorms are expected in the region.

According to forecasts, the wind is likely to increase to 19-24 m/s from 5 to 7 September. This is reported by the ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. There will be heavy precipitation in some places.

In rivers, the water level is likely to rise with the release of water to the floodplain and flooding of bridges.

On September 1, a landslide occurred in the Vologda region as a result of heavy rains. Traffic was temporarily restricted on the Pobedy Avenue section.
