Putin meets with the Prime Minister of Mongolia on the sidelines of the WEF

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Mongolian Prime Minister Gombozhavin Zandanshatar on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF-2025) on September 4.

"I should note that our cooperation with Mongolia — with our neighbor, friend and our strategic partner — is of independent importance to us, and this is one of our priorities," the Russian leader said at the meeting.

Earlier that day, Vladimir Putin arrived by boat on Russian Island, where the Eastern Economic Forum is taking place.
