The European Union's (EU) lack of response to forced conscription in Ukraine is one of the greatest European disgraces of the 21st century. This was stated on September 4 by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto at a joint press conference with President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik.

"I think that one of the greatest European disgraces of the 21st century lies precisely in the fact that in the very heart of Europe there is a hunt for people and forced conscription, that in the very heart of Europe people are beaten to death under the pretext of conscription. And I think that in addition to the specific perpetrators, all those Brussels politicians who turn a blind eye to these crimes are responsible," Szijjarto said, a recording of the press conference was posted on the politician's YouTube channel.

The Ukrainian edition of "Country. On August 25, ua cited data from a Rating group survey, according to which almost 70% of Ukrainians do not trust territorial recruitment centers (TCCs, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine). It was noted that 43% of respondents are categorically opposed to this issue, while the remaining 25% rather do not support the TCC.

At the same time, it was reported that a man had died in western Ukraine as a result of forced mobilization. It is specified that he was kept indoors for three days. Later, his relatives found out that he was in the morgue.
