The NMG Film Distribution company (part of the National Media Group holding) presents the official trailer of the fantastic action movie "Alter". The main role was played by Tom Felton. The iconic actor, known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, returns to the screen in an unexpected role as designer—inventor Leon, who lives in a world where genetic improvements have become the norm and ordinary people are outcasts. "Alter" will be released on big screens on September 18.

According to the plot, in an alternate reality where the Caribbean crisis ended in a nuclear war, humanity relied on genetic modifications. Already in the 1970s, the first generation of "geneticists" appeared — people with enhanced physical and cognitive abilities. But 10% of the population cannot be modified — they remain "special". They are isolated in poor, criminalized areas.

Leon, a talented engineer confined to a wheelchair, creates a unique exoskeleton from improvised materials, powered by the energy of a mysterious plant — the Genesis flower. When he is unfairly accused of a crime, he goes on the trail of a global conspiracy and becomes a symbol of resistance for millions of "special" people deprived of their rights.
