Over the past two days, three powerful DDoS attacks have been recorded on the resources of the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF). This was announced on September 4 by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Stanislav Kuznetsov on the sidelines of the WEF.

"The WEF has reliable protection, good teams are working. There have been three powerful DDoS attacks in the last two days," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to him, all attacks were successfully repelled in an automated mode. He also added that all resources are securely protected at major events.

On August 22, the Ministry of Finance reported that Gosuslugi was undergoing a massive DDoS attack from abroad. The ministry stressed that all attacks are successfully repelled, and user data is protected. Multi-level high-tech protection has been built to ensure the information security of the resource.

The Jubilee Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), which runs from September 3-6, promises to be one of the largest in all its years, with representatives from more than 70 countries and territories confirming their participation. The key issues for discussion will be the introduction of modern technologies, the development of infrastructure projects and new logistics corridors, as well as the training of qualified specialists. Special attention will be paid to international cooperation.
