The reconstruction of Bolshaya Yushunskaya Street has started in Moscow, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said on his channel at the IACH. As a result, its capacity will increase significantly, and transport connectivity between the Zyuzino and Nagorny districts, where more than 200,000 people live, will improve.

"The road will be four—lane, with two lanes in each direction. It will connect two major transport facilities — Kakhovka Street and Balaklavsky Avenue, which is part of the Southern Ring Road," said the mayor of the capital.

In addition, the new road will become a convenient exit for residents of houses falling under the renovation program in the Zyuzin quarters. In particular, residents of 12 houses are subject to relocation in the 25th quarter, and in the 14th a house with 255 apartments has already been commissioned and construction of a residential complex with 555 apartments is continuing.

As part of the project, it is planned to equip parking areas, install five modern bus shelters, modernize engineering communications and reconstruct 26 exits.
