The Russian government will allocate 303 million rubles for the liquidation of the Great Russian Encyclopedia (BDE) company, which was engaged in the creation of the Znanie portal, an analogue of Wikipedia. On September 4, the relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"In 2025, the Ministry of Finance of Russia will allocate budget allocations in the amount of 303,060 thousand rubles from the reserve fund of the Government of the Russian Federation to provide subsidies to the autonomous non-profit organization ANO National Scientific and Educational Center Big Russian Encyclopedia for the completion of liquidation measures in 2025," the order says.
