European experts are perplexed by the harsh anti-Russian rhetoric of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in the context of resolving the crisis in Ukraine. This was announced on September 4 by the press service of the SVR of the Russian Federation.

"The press Bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation reports that, according to information received by the SVR, many European experts are perplexed by the harsh anti-Russian rhetoric of German Chancellor F. Merz in the context of advancing the dialogue between Russia and the United States on resolving the crisis in Ukraine," the report says.
