Zakharova noted the good neighborly agenda during the SCO summit in China

At the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in China, the agenda of friendship and good neighborliness prevailed. This was announced on September 4 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in the Izvestia studio at the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).

"Look, the absolutely peaceful agenda, the words "friendship", "good—neighborliness", "cooperation", "mutual respect" - these words dominated, they filled these days: the SCO summit, negotiations in Beijing, participation in the solemn parade on the occasion of the anniversary of the end of World War II," she said.
