Soldiers of the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah (Houthis) reported launching the second rocket attack on Israeli territory in a day. This was announced on September 3 by Yahya Saria, a representative of the armed forces of the group.

"The missile forces of the Yemeni armed forces conducted a military operation by attacking a sensitive Israeli enemy facility west of occupied Jerusalem with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile. The operation has successfully achieved its goal," Al Masirah TV channel quoted him as saying.

It is also reported that the Houthis struck near Haifa using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It clarifies that the strikes were a response to Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip.

On September 2, Saria also reported that the Houthis had launched drone strikes on four targets in Israel, including the General Staff building. According to him, drones also attacked Ben Gurion Airport, Ashdod seaport and a power plant in Tel Aviv.

On August 29, it was reported that the Prime Minister of the Houthi rebel movement Ansar Allah, Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi, was killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike on Yemeni Sanaa. The movement later confirmed his death. The Houthis also reported the deaths of several ministers.
