In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, one person was killed in an accident.

A fatal accident occurred on the highway near Divnogorsk, resulting in the death of one person and another injured. This was announced on September 3 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

"On 21 km of the R-257 Yenisei highway, the 72-year-old driver of a Lada Granta car, moving towards Krasnoyarsk, entered the oncoming traffic lane, where a collision occurred with a Mazda car driven by a 46—year-old driver," according to a publication on the department's Telegram channel.

The driver of a domestic car died in a medical facility from life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the foreign car received medical assistance at the scene.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

Earlier in the day, two people, including a drunk driver, were injured in the Krasnochikoysky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory as a result of a car overturning. It is specified that the driver did not have the right to drive vehicles.
