Deputy Taymazov handed over five cars to the participants of the SVO with disabilities

Vice-President of the Russian Wrestling Federation, State Duma deputy Artur Taymazov handed over five personal cars to veterans of the special military operation (SVO) with disabilities. He told Izvestia about this on September 4.

It is noted that Zaurbek Tskhovrebov, Marat Dudaev, Taimuraz Kallagov, Soslan Gogichaev, Totraz Botsiev took part in the SVO at various times and were seriously injured.

"We have awarded five cars for veterans with disabilities. This is an important event, because today the guys are defending our country at the cost of their lives. And we must always remember their feat," said Taymazov.

All the transferred machines are manually operated and meet the needs of veterans who are currently working, undergoing rehabilitation, and also engaged in various sports, such as sitting volleyball and arm wrestling. In addition, many of the participants in the special operation have a family and children.

"It was very difficult to need a car now without a car. I can't even convey my emotions. I left [on my own] in November 2022. I was in the Zaporizhia region, and I was injured. On January 13, 2023, they came under fire and received a mine explosion wound. I think I've lost my entire right side: both my leg and my arm," said one of the veterans of the SVO, Zaurbek Tskhovrebov.

The First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, Rahim Azimov, also provided assistance in the purchase of passenger cars. At the same time, all military personnel additionally receive support from the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation branch in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.

Among the initiatives are a fourfold increase in monthly payments and a reduction in the retirement age.

On July 8, Assistant to the President of Russia, Secretary of the State Council Alexei Dyumin stated the importance of informing the participants in the hostilities about the benefits. He also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally controls the issues of support for veterans of his military and their families.
