Russia's permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said on September 3 that he had discussed the situation around Iran's nuclear program with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi.

According to him, the Iranian nuclear issue is alarming.

"I met with the Director General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, to discuss the alarming situation around the Iranian nuclear dossier," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On August 26, it was reported that Iran was ready to resume indirect talks with the United States on its nuclear program if it received guarantees that the attack on the country by the United States and Israel would not happen again.

On August 13, France, Great Britain and Germany expressed their readiness to re-impose sanctions against Iran if the Islamic Republic does not resume negotiations with the international community on its nuclear doctrine.
