The prototype of the new Audi model was compared to Hitler
Social media users have criticized the design of the Audi Concept C prototype, which the German manufacturer unveiled this week. Participants in the discussion on the Reddit forum compared the appearance of the front of the car with the leader of Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, drew the attention of Izvestia on September 3.
Previously, Audi cars were distinguished by the horizontal styling of the "front end" of the car, but the new concept has a design with a vertical orientation, which, according to representatives of the brand, demonstrates a "new design philosophy." The vertical black panel in place of the radiator grille attracted the attention of users.
"This radiator grille is just terrible," one user wrote. "It looks like a German mustache," they replied.
"Why do I see Hitler's mustache here?" asks another participant in the discussion. "Now I can't figure it out," the second one complains.
"I can't wait to buy a new Rudolf Hitler module," another joked. Another mentioned the "Austrian School of Design".
"Should Poland put its defenses on alert?" the commentators also sneered.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that a cyberattack had seriously disrupted production of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles, including at the company's two main plants in the UK. A notice was sent to employees of the company's plants in Halewood and Solihull asking them not to go to work.
