On the eve of the 2025/26 season, the CSKA Hockey school hosted a coaching council, whose participants discussed the goals of the season, including winning the Moscow School-Wide Competition. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the hockey club.

"Every year we set a goal for the season, last year we failed to achieve the maximum result, we took second place. This year, 65 hockey players have left the test age, 62 have come. Our coaching staff has been updated at some ages, and it was necessary to convey to the new guys, to the coaches, and to those who work with us that CSKA is not just a sport of high achievements, it is also a sporting philosophy, the philosophy of winning, being the best, being at the top of sports skills,"— said CSKA President Igor Esmantovich.

During the coaching council, issues related to the school's work were also discussed, such as the purchase of equipment and medical care for hockey players. "We were able to sort out the equipment, business trips, flights, meals, and salaries of the coaches, where the main company Rosneft went to meet us and helped us do it all. And they openly move us forward. Despite this difficult time that we are currently in, we were able to create excellent working conditions together with the company," concluded Esmantovich, recalling that this year a new strategy for the development of a children's sports school for three years was adopted and thanking Igor Sechin personally and the Rosneft Supervisory Board for their help.
