The Russian Air defense forces shot down two HIMARS shells and 170 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the day.

Russian air defense systems shot down five guided aerial bombs and 170 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the day. This was announced on September 3 by the Russian Ministry of Defense on its website.

"Air defense systems shot down five guided aerial bombs, two US—made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 170 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the report said.

The Ministry of Defense also reported that since the beginning of the special operation, Russian troops have shot down 666 aircraft, 81.3 thousand unmanned aerial vehicles, 40.9 thousand units of special military vehicles and 29 thousand field artillery and mortars.

On the same day, the Ministry reported that at night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike against enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) and the fuel infrastructure of Ukraine used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It clarifies that the targets of the strike have been achieved, all designated targets have been hit.

A day earlier, the Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Fedorovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Russian fighters in this area also defeated three mechanized, airmobile and amphibious assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
