VTB's loan portfolio of infrastructure projects for small and medium-sized businesses has increased by 7% to 92 billion rubles since the beginning of the year. This was announced by Ruslan Yeremenko, a member of the VTB Board, at the WEF-2025.

Infrastructure projects are dominated by those related to logistics, construction, energy and digital solutions that ensure the development of the regional economy.

"The Far East is one of the key regions for infrastructure development, and it is here that the demand for long—term borrowed resources is highest. The growth of VTB's portfolio reflects the real business needs for financing tools and confirms that entrepreneurs are actively using banking opportunities to launch and scale projects. We see significant potential in this segment and are ready to support customers by ensuring the sustainable development of the regions," Ruslan Yeremenko said.

VTB continues to strengthen its position in financing medium and small businesses implementing infrastructure projects, and the Far East is among the top regions in terms of disbursements. In particular, the main volume of funds provided falls on enterprises of the Amur region. In total, the loan portfolio of infrastructure projects in the Far East has grown by 30% since the beginning of the year.
