Yalta boiler houses to switch from liquid fuel to gas
Boilers of the Yalta city district will be switched from liquid fuel to gas. This instruction was given to the regional Ministry of Housing and Communal Services by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Yuri Gotsanyuk, according to the social networks of the head of the city administration, Yanina Pavlenko, on Wednesday, September 3.
"It's a lot of work, but in the end we'll get stable heating and get away from 88 extra km of pipes with a huge heat loss. We have identified two starting points," wrote the mayor.
The modernization will begin with a boiler house in Alupka, where locals complain of soot in the air. Major repairs and pipe cleaning are currently underway in the town.
The second reconstruction facility is in the Sanatorium, writes IA SevastopolMedia. According to Pavlenko, there is an investor there who is ready to implement the project.
Earlier it was reported that drilling piles will be installed on the Bakhchisarai—Yalta highway. The work is aimed at strengthening the slopes and improving safety on the highway.
