Creative industries of the Far East will have wide access to digital financial instruments

PSB, the Tokeon platform (part of the PSB Group) and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV) have agreed to jointly develop digital financial instruments for the creative industries of the Far Eastern Federal District. The parties concluded the relevant agreement at the Eastern Economic Forum.

The document provides for the organization of access to the Tokeon platform information system for the subjects of the creative industries of the region. The agreement provides assistance in the issuance of digital financial assets and hybrid digital rights, which, in addition to cash payments, may include settlements with investors for goods, the transfer of intellectual property rights, the performance of work or the provision of services.

"Digital tools open up new opportunities for the development of creative industries, which in many ways shape the image of the future region. It is important that not only government institutions, but also businesses are involved in this process," said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.

According to Olga Myamlina, Deputy Chairman of the PSB, "digital assets are becoming the very tool that will provide new development prospects for companies from the creative industries of the Far East and create effective support mechanisms."

Igor Egorkin, CEO of the Tokeon platform, added that cooperation involves joint participation in webinars and conferences, consultations, and direct assistance to issuers in preparing and conducting digital asset issues.

Hasan Hasanbalayev, Executive Director for Social Development at the KRDV, stressed that thanks to cooperation, businesses will be able to launch initiatives faster and more efficiently that change the face of cities and the quality of people's lives. "We expect that the use of digital assets will become one of the drivers for the development of the region's creative economy," Hasanbalayev stressed.
