Slyusar: A shell hit the roof of a station in the Rostov region, no one was injured

An unexploded shell of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hit the roof of the Kuteynikovo railway station in the Rostov region. This was announced on September 3 by Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar.

"Due to an unexploded munition hitting the roof of the station building, passengers and employees were evacuated from it at night," he clarified in his Telegram channel.

There were no casualties as a result of the emergency. Slyusar added that on the night of September 3, the Kuteynikovo station was attacked by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), as a result of which the work of the contact network was temporarily disrupted.

Work with passengers is temporarily restricted. Trains continue to move, but with a delay. The station staff provides assistance to passengers.

Earlier, on September 2, it was reported that an emergency regime had been introduced in Rostov-on-Don in the area of houses damaged by Ukrainian drones. Mayor Alexander Scriabin clarified that an operational headquarters and a damage assessment commission have been set up. The apartments are being searched. Public utilities have begun cleaning the surrounding areas of the accident site.
