A local court has cleared American singer Cardi B of charges of assaulting security guard Emani Ellis in 2018. This was announced on September 2 by NBC.

"After a civil trial <...>, the jury on Tuesday released rapper Cardi B from any legal liability after she was accused of assaulting a security guard in 2018," the TV channel noted.

It is specified that the victim could not provide evidence of the rap singer's attack.
