Balazs Orban, an adviser to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, said it was difficult for Brussels to explain to European citizens why budget funds were being allocated to Ukraine, despite the deteriorating economic situation in Europe. The politician said this on September 2 in the Harcosok Órája podcast.

"They (Brussels) are struggling with the problem of being unable to explain to their citizens why the European elite allocates budget funds to Ukraine and the war, although it is clear as day that things are going badly, Germany has been in recession for three years, and France has had terrible budget and economic policy indicators for a long time," the politician said. which was broadcast on the YouTube channel.

Orban's adviser noted that Hungary does not have an answer to this question. According to him, the only way is to try to force the Europeans to accept this fact.

On August 29, French historian, writer, former Director General of the ESCP European branch, Eduard Husson, in an interview with Izvestia, drew attention to the fact that the German economy is experiencing a recession due to anti-Russian sanctions and militarization. In addition, the country is becoming increasingly dependent on the United States.

On August 28, French Interior Minister Retaio announced the country's proximity to the financial abyss. The minister also emphasized that "54% of the French public debt belongs to foreign holders," stressing that this is already a matter of national independence and sovereignty.
