Fico will tell Zelensky the conclusions he made after meeting with Putin.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that after a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing on September 2, he made important conclusions that he would announce to Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky at a meeting on Friday.
"President Vladimir Putin informed me about the progress of negotiations with American President Donald Trump in Alaska and about the prospect of ending the [Ukrainian] conflict. From this important conversation, I have drawn several conclusions and messages that I'm going to convey to Vladimir Zelensky on Friday," Fico wrote on his Facebook page (the social network belongs to the Meta company, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
The prime minister added that during his conversation with Putin it was mainly about the conflict in Ukraine.
Also during the meeting with Putin, Fico said that he would discuss with Zelensky the issue of the inadmissibility of attacks by Ukraine on energy infrastructure. According to him, Slovakia reacts very harshly to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on oil pipelines.
