The prices of the Russian-built Tenet T8 crossover have become known
The all-wheel drive seven-seat Tenet T8 crossover will be available in Russia in two trim levels priced from 3.54 million and 3.79 million rubles, respectively, and orders for the model have started. This is stated in the message of Tenet Rus, which was received by Izvestia on September 2.
The Tenet T8 is offered with an alternative two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 197 hp (375 Nm) paired with a seven-speed "robot". Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.4 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h. Fuel consumption is 8.8 liters per 100 km. The length of the car is 4725 mm with a wheelbase of 2710 mm, ground clearance is 196 mm. There are six settings for the operation of the all-wheel drive system. The volume of the luggage compartment varies from 193 liters to 1930 liters.
The basic package includes, among other things, 18-inch wheels, diode optics, a panoramic roof, an all-round viewing system and parking sensors, six airbags, light and rain sensors, an electric handbrake, dual-zone climate control with air filtration, and eight Sony audio speakers. There are two separate screens in the cabin — a central 15.6-inch and a 10.3-inch digital dashboard.
The second and top-end versions of the Tenet T8 have 19-inch wheels, the front seats are equipped with ventilation, and the number of speakers has been expanded to 10. The complex of driving assistants has been supplemented (including blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control), there is an outdoor backlight under the mirrors and door sills in front, wireless charging for a smartphone, a projection display and deflectors of the third row of seats.
The Tenet T8 entered the assembly line at the AGR Holding plant (formerly Volkswagen) in the Kaluga Region, along with the more compact T4 and T7 crossovers. Tenet cars are based on Chery models. The Tenet brand was created specifically for the Russian market.
Earlier that day, insiders reported that cars of the revived Volga brand are being created in collaboration with Geely, and a presentation of the project will take place soon. Last year, the prototypes for three Volga models were cars from the Chinese automobile company Changan, but their sales did not begin.
