Almost 1.5 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections were registered in the Pskov region

Over the last week of summer, almost 1.5 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) were detected in the Pskov region. 516 people fell ill in Pskov.

The proportion of children under 14 years of age in the total number of cases is 51.6%. This is reported by the Pskov news feed with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.

During the week, 31 cases of acute intestinal infection were detected. This corresponds to the long-term average.

Flu vaccination is already underway in the Pskov region. Doctors expect an increase in the incidence in September with the end of the holiday season.
