Izvestia News Center launched a special project "Hello, we are your networks!"

Izvestia News Center presented a new special project "Hello, we are your networks!" dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in Russia. He will talk about key Russian developments in the field of AI, their application in everyday life, as well as the challenges facing society amid rapid digitalization.

Artificial intelligence has long ceased to be fiction — it has penetrated into all spheres of life, changing familiar approaches to work and decision-making. Neural networks are used everywhere, from medicine and finance to everyday tasks. The Izvestia project is an attempt to understand how AI is shaping our future reality right now. The creators will talk in detail about robots, text and speech processing technologies, smart speakers, computer vision in healthcare, unmanned vehicles and many other technologies that are being increasingly introduced into our lives every day. The project focuses on the dynamic development of AI technologies in Russia, including government support and initiatives, and cooperation between research centers and industry.

The Izvestia News Center's special project is aimed at a wide readership — people who do not have a technical education, but are interested in modern technologies. All project materials are presented in an accessible form using interactive modules, infographics and multimedia formats. A special feature of the project is the use of AI technology in creating materials and special mechanics that will show the reader which fragments of content (texts, illustrations) are created by humans and which are generated by a neural network.

"Hello, we are your networks!" will also reveal issues related to the risks of using AI: fraud, ill-conceived dangerous program algorithms, ethical issues. The creators of the project will share recommendations on how to protect themselves and their loved ones from potential AI threats.
