On September 2, the Investigative Committee of Russia published a video of the interrogation of teenagers detained for preparing a terrorist act at a military-industrial complex facility in Izhevsk.

According to one of the minors, he received a task from a supervisor via messenger. He asked the teenager to pick up the package, a backpack. Together with a friend, the suspect went to the hiding place, found a briefcase with an unknown object inside and decided to hide it in the closet.

Later, the teenagers brought an explosive device to the entrance of a defense enterprise in Izhevsk. During the interrogation, the second detainee confessed that he had planned an explosion at a military factory in order to earn money.

The ministry clarified that a criminal case has been opened against the young people under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted terrorist act"). The minors are currently in custody.

The day before, a local resident suspected of providing assistance to the special services of Ukraine was detained in the Tambov region. On the instructions of the curator, he extracted from a pre-prepared cache the components of equipment designed for remote control and activation of means of committing acts of sabotage and terrorism.
